Connor Tomlinson has opened up about his breakup. He told Swoon all the details.
“On the flight back from England, I told myself, ‘[You’ve] got to do it, Connor. There’s no other option. It’s the only way you’re ever going to be happy.’ I tried calling Georgie on the phone, [but] the words just got caught in my throat, so I told her over text instead. And, well, let’s just say she didn’t take it well.”
She did not take the breakup well. However, the two are still friends and on good terms. Georgie has dated since the breakup, but Connor has not. Now he is ready to get back out in the dating world.
It seems as though Connor knew he needed to end the relationship early in their England trip. However, it took him a bit to build the courage to break the news to her. He ended up having to do it over a text. Georgie was not happy to hear the news. However, they have since remained friends and seem to be on good terms. Connor knew this was for the best, and they could not give each other what they needed.
