‘Laguna Beach’ Lauren Conrad Throws Away Past Amid Reunion
The Roku Channel will debut the Laguna Beach 20th anniversary special on April 10th, 2026. All of the vital cast have reunited for this big event, and millennials are over the moon excited. Lauren ‘LC’ Conrad will even have a one-on-one chat with her former “enemy,” Kristin Cavallari. However, prior to the reunion airing, she is discussing how she is throwing a big part of her past away. Keep reading for more details on what she had to say.
Lauren Conrad Is Done With A Major Part Of Her Life
When Laguna Beach premiered in 2004, it redefined a generation. Viewers wanted to dress and talk just like the cast members, including Lauren ‘LC’ Conrad and Kristin Cavallari. Stores even sold shirts that read ‘Team Lauren’ and ‘Team Kristin’ as the two were pitted against one another. The series lasted for three seasons, with the core cast exiting after Season 2. LC headed off to The Hills, which Kristin took over in Season 5, and went on to have a very successful clothing line. Now, they have reunited with cast members such as Stephen Colletti, Jessica Evans, and more.
Although Kristin kept up with reality television and even has her own Let’s Be Honest podcast, Lauren has stayed out of the spotlight. She has two children with her lawyer/musician husband, William Tell, and they live a quiet life in Laguna Beach, California. Lauren recently appeared on Kristin’s pod and noted that after the reunion, she was done with reality television. Moreover, she feels complete with how she is ending her time on TV, as she is ending it the same way that it all began:
“I would love to put a pin in my career… it would be really cool to end my career with the same people I started it with. The same group of people I started with, I can also say goodbye with … it felt clean.”
Lauren also noted that she has not missed being in front of a camera. She is happy with where she is, and that is a great thing for her. However, make no mistake; the Laguna Beach alum was very happy with her time on MTV. She understands that she would not be as successful as she is now without the show:
“I enjoyed it while I had it. We had fun and I’m really grateful for the opportunity and I know that, because I did all that, I’m able to live the life I live now. But I love just being with my fam and my friends and living a quieter life.”
Fans Love To See It
Having Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari sitting down together is healing for Laguna Beach fans. They love seeing them reuniting and getting along quite well. Both are businesswomen and mothers, but they had an incredible shared experience. It also answered a lot of questions about what really happened behind the scenes and if they really hated each other:
