‘Today’ Dylan Dreyer Announces New Career Move
Fans know Dylan Dreyer best for her work as a meteorologist, whether on Today or The Weather Channel. However, she recently announced a new job on social media, and the story already involves a few notable names. Since then, fans have been sharing their own reactions and stories on social media.
Dylan Dreyer Shared The Announcement In A Joint Post With Today
Dreyer is known to many as a meteorologist for NBC News. She also appears on Today as a weather correspondent, a substitute anchor, and a co-host for the show’s third hour. Additionally, she has appeared on NBC Nightly News.
Dreyer first joined NBC through the former affiliate station, WHDH, in Boston. In addition to this, she also appears on The Weather Channel.
However, Dreyer recently took to social media to share big news. She was launching a new parenting-focused podcast series, “The Parenting Chat.”
Dylan and her estranged husband, Brian Fichera, share three sons, Cal, Ollie, and Rusty. While the couple split last year after 12 years of marriage, they are said to have remained friends and co-parent their sons together.
Dreyer Already Teased A Few Famous Guests In The Video
In her announcement, which was also shared by Today’s account, the news personality announced, “Hey everyone, I’m Dylan Dreyer, co-host of the third hour of Today, and mom to three wild boys. I’ve learnt a lot in my many years of being a parent, mostly that I don’t have it all figured out yet.”
Dylan continued, “This is my new podcast, ‘The Parent Chat.’ Each week, I sit down with someone new for honest conversations and real-world advice about parenting.”
Reportedly, viewers can expect a few celebrity parents as guests on the show. The video already teased figures like Tig Notaro, Ashley Graham, and Erin Andrews. New episodes are also expected to debut on Thursdays, with the first scheduled for April 2, 2026.
