Dakota Mortensen Cast In New Series, Fans Demand Cancellation
Dakota Mortensen was just cast in a new series created by Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper. Yet, fans have immediately demanded the cancellation of said show as they feel the timing is horrid. Moreover, they feel it is inappropriate, given the assault accusations between Dakota and his ex, Taylor Frankie Paul. Keep reading for more on what followers have to say.
Fans Demand Cancellation Of New Dakota Mortensen Series
Everything was all set for Taylor Frankie Paul to be the new Bachelorette. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star had filmed her season, and a special aired. However, ahead of the premiere, Taylor and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, got into a domestic dispute. It led to filming of Season 5 of SLOMW being put on hold for the foreseeable future. Additionally, Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette was canceled after footage of a 2023 vicious fight between the former couple came out.
After all was said and done, it would appear that they would both be lying low. However, that has not happened, at least for Dakota. Call Her Daddy host, Alex Cooper, just revealed that she would be doing a four-episode series, Unwell Winter Games. It will air on YouTube, and Dakota was named as one of the sixteen contestants. Moreover, the show will go down in Park City, Utah, and will include Love Island USA star Huda Mustafa and Demi Engemann from SLOMW. After the cast was announced, with Dakota included, fans immediately wanted it canceled.

If Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of The Bachelorette had to end, then so does anything Dakota Mortensen participates in. Granted, this is a villain-based cast, but it seemed too soon for anyone’s liking:
- They should cancel it since they cancelled The Bachelorette…..
- Platform Dakota in the midst of this mess is disgusting.
- CANCEL IT!!!! Dakota shouldn’t get a show since Bachelorette is cancelled
Others were sickened by Alex Cooper and the fact that she was capitalizing on these people.
Should It Be Axed?
At this point, the big question is whether the show should be axed or should it be allowed to continue on? Alex Cooper has a huge fanbase, so she could likely get the show to air on another streaming service or even create her own. Furthermore, there are always people who will want to watch their favorite villains and trainwrecks. At the same time, some do like Dakota Mortensen and are in support of him moving on:
