Val Chmerkovskiy had to skip the show in Peoria. This is something he did not want to do, but had to for his health. He had a spell and could not focus. His head was spinning, and he could not get control of himself. Val ended up having to go to the hospital for this. He was hoping to only have to miss one show. Val does not like letting his fans down and feels awful about the situation. However, people want him to feel better.

The DWTS pro was scared that there was a tumor in his brain. This is what he feared he was going to be told when going into the hospital. However, this was not the case, and Val was relieved.
“I’ve got BPPV, which isn’t too bad, thank god. There’s no tumor in my brain, god forbid,”
BPPV stands for Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. It is a common inner ear disorder that causes vertigo spells. While this is still not fun and not something Val wanted to have, it is the better alternative to a tumor. Fans are hoping that he starts feeling better soon.

He was nervous that it had something to do with his neck injury as well. However, he just has BPPV. This is not a fun thing to have. However, it was better than both of the alternatives.
