Kim Delaney Tries To Run Down Ex With Car; He’s Arrested
Kim Delaney played Detective Diane Russell on NYPD Blue for nearly a decade. But she’s been on the wrong side of the law since leaving the show. She was arrested for suspicion of DUI back in 2002 and has faced more legal trouble since. In recent years, the incidents have involved her husband, James Morgan.
The soap star filed for divorce in 2023, but the divorce hasn’t proceeded any further. The embattled actress allegedly tried to run her ex down but he was the one arrested. Keep reading for all the details.
Kim Delaney Allegedly Tries To Run Down Ex With Car
Kim Delaney’s time on All My Children was short but memorable. She played Jenny Gardner on the ABC soap opera from 1981 until the show killed the character off in a shocking jet ski accident in 1984. The actress also made a brief appearance on General Hospital as Jackie Templeton in 2020. The character was originally played by Demi Moore in the early 1980s.
Her return to soap operas gave fans hope that the actress was turning her life around after multiple brushes with the law. But Kim Delaney and her estranged husband were both arrested last year for a shocking alleged domestic violence incident. The incident happened last spring. Kim Delaney called the police on, claiming domestic abuse. In turn, her estranged husband made the shocking claim that she tried to hit him with her car.
They were both placed under arrest. Kim Delaney was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon and James Martin was booked on misdemeanor battery. The case was dropped due to insufficient evidence.
Her Estranged Husband Arrested
The police were called again to Kim Delaney’s home in Los Angeles, California, over the weekend. The cops received three noise complaint calls from the apartment complex where the actress lives with her estranged husband.
The details of the alleged verbal disturbance weren’t revealed. However, PEOPLE magazine reported that Kim Delaney’s ex was arrested at the scene. He allegedly refused to cooperate and was booked on obstruction charges. However, he was “cited and released.” The actress wasn’t charged with anything.
