Insiders Talk Cardi B’s Clash With New England Patriot WAGs
The New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks are about to face off in the 2026 Super Bowl. Thanks to this, rapper Cardi B, who is in a relationship with Patriot Stefon Diggs, will be close to the big event. However, inside sources have recently touched on some clashes behind the scenes involving the Patriot family.
Cardi B Confirmed Her Relationship With Stefon Diggs Back In 2025
Cardi B is an American rapper who launched her career in 2016. The New York City native is currently one of the highest-certified female rappers of all time in U.S. digital sales.
In 2025, Cardi confirmed that she was in a relationship with NFL player Stefon Diggs of the New England Patriots. This past November, she gave birth to their son, her fourth child and Digg’s sixth.
Currently, Diggs is set to play during the 2026 Super Bowl, with the New England Patriots facing off against the Seattle Seahawks. To help honor the occasion, reports have come out that Cardi B is planning a big party at Levi’s Stadium in California to cheer on Diggs and his teammates.
According to insiders, Cardi is spending around $1.2 million on private jets, hotels, luxury drinks, suits, and tickets for the events. However, things aren’t going so well with the other “WAGs,” or the other players’ “wives and girlfriends.”
One source, while speaking to The U.S. Sun, claimed that having Cardi in and around the other players’ wives and girlfriends “is a lot to deal with.” The source suggested that the rapper may have been acting in a “cold, diva-like way.”
The Insiders Claimed A Super Bowl Win Could Even Cause A Drawback
As the insider noted, however, “The Patriots are not a franchise that likes flashy behavior. [Cardi’s] always looking to be the center of attention, has no filter and no limits, and acts like she can do whatever she wants — and the same goes for her entourage. That’s extremely frustrating for many people.”
According to the outlet, there have been attempts to broker peace between Cardi, Diggs, and the other families that make up the team. However, it was admitted that this might be easier said than done.

The source noted that most of the “families don’t talk to her,” saying that “she has no filter.” They also noted, “It has started to feel like a ‘Patriots featuring Cardi B and Stefon Diggs’ show, which is extremely annoying.” On the other hand, Diggs’ teammates have also reportedly tried to play peacemakers over the situation.
However, there is another issue that could cause problems: a lack of enough tickets and extra suites to accommodate everyone. The source also noted that the Patriots’ winning could even cause more issues.
As the outlet noted, the source shared, “I’m worried that if the Patriots win on Sunday, the team party will turn into a Cardi B and Stefon Diggs–themed event, where they’ll want all the attention and spotlight again. If that happens, a lot of people won’t stick around and will just leave to celebrate somewhere else.”
