Lil Jon’s Missing Son Presumed Dead
Over the last week, two prominent figures in the entertainment industry have seen loved ones go missing. On February 1st, 2026, Today Show co-host Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, went missing from her Tucson, Arizona home. The 84-year-old is still missing, but blood was found on her front porch, matching Nancy’s DNA. Moreover, the family has sent out two pleas, and the reward is up to $50K for her safe return. Just a few days later, famed rapper Lil Jon’s son, Nathan Murray Smith, aka DJ Young Slade, went missing.
He was last seen on the morning of February 3rd, 2026, in Milton, Georgia. There had been hope, as with Savannah Guthrie’s mother. However, it has now been revealed that a body has been recovered that is believed to be Nathan’s. He was just twenty-seven years old when he went missing. Per the Milton Police, they shared that the Cherokee County Fire Department had been searching around a pond. That was where they had been looking for Nathan, but also where a body was ultimately located.

Now, they are doing everything necessary to determine identity and cause of death. Yet, it is not believed that there was anything foul when it came to the death, but again, there is a lot to look into. Lil Jon’s son allegedly did not have his phone when he went missing. However, the family was continuing to hold out hope and asked for prayers. They have not said anything since the body was retrieved, but the police department did release a statement.
A Tragic Ending
If this is, in fact, Lil Jon’s missing son, it is a tragic ending. No one wants to lose a child, and the Milton Police Department seems to believe that it is Nathan Murray Smith.
