News has come out that Today host, Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy, has gone missing in Tucson, Arizona. Recently, Savannah’s sister, Annie, has been spotted looking somber in light of these events, though she isn’t without people by her side. This also comes out as sources have been sharing information about the family.
Another Family Member Could Be Seen Outside With Annie Guthrie
Savannah’s mother, Nancy, was last seen outside of her home on Saturday, January 31st, 2026. However, as of February 1st, she was gone. News came out that Nancy had gone missing after a concerned family member issued a 911 call to authorities.
Recently, Savannah herself took to Today to share a contact number for anyone with possible leads on what happened. Since the story first broke, news has also come out concerning various members of the Guthrie family.
Recently, The U.S. Sun reported that Guthrie’s sister, Annie, could be seen looking shattered on Wednesday. She could be seen wearing a white button-up shirt and dark sunglasses.
Entering a white Toyota Camry, Annie appeared to be surrounded by support. The car was driven by someone that the outlet believed to be her brother, Camron. He reportedly flew in from Vermont.
Pima County Authorities Have Shared Updates Over The Case
A female friend also appeared to be at the scene, offering some comfort. She appeared to be holding board games as she walked past the home’s gate.
Three security guards were also seen surveilling Annie’s home. Notably, Annie lives around four miles away from her mother’s Tucson property.

The appearance was notable as Annie and her husband, Tommaso Cioni, were seen for the first time since Nancy’s disappearance on Tuesday. As previously reported, different sources previously claimed that either Annie or Tommaso was believed to be the last person to see Nancy before she was reported missing.

As the outlet noted, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department declared that there are currently no suspects in the case. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos also confirmed that Tommaso dropped Nancy home at around 9:45 PM local time on Saturday evening. He reportedly wanted to make sure she got inside safely due to her physical disabilities.
Nancy was reportedly spending the evening with Annie’s family for dinner. However, the following morning, Annie received a call from a church parishioner who claimed Nancy never arrived for service. Nancy’s wallet, phone, and watch were also found inside her home, with cops finding blood outside her front door.
