‘The View’ Fans Call Out Ana Navarro Over Certain Habit
Viewers have watched Ana Navarro on The View for years. As she’s weighed in on various hot topics, fans have recently claimed to have picked up on a certain habit of hers. Since then, they have been sharing their reactions on social media, especially in response to a moment during a recent episode of the show.
Ana Navarro Has Been Part Of The View Since At Least 2013, Long Before Becoming A Permanent Co-Host
Navarro is a Nicaraguan American political strategist who has worked for various outlets over the years. This has included CNN, ABC News, and Telemundo.
However, many likely know Navarro best as a co-host on The View. She originally joined the New York-based show as a contributor in 2013. She eventually became a permanent co-host by 2022.

Naturally, throughout her career, Navarro has encountered a number of big names in a variety of fields. This can range from politicians to famous actors and singers.
Over the years, fans have noticed Navarro has often mentioned all the well-known people she has met on The View. In fact, taking to Reddit, one fan noted that she really likes to name-drop.
As the fan wrote, “It seems like she knows a lot of rich and famous people.” The fan felt this has been happening quite a bit on the show, noting, “This week she seemed to name drop JLo, the Clintons, Marc Anthony. She seems to know a lot of people.”
During the January 17 episode of The Weekend View, Navarro mentioned Marc Anthony singing at Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s April 2022 wedding. At the time, Joy Behar expressed that she “couldn’t believe” that Navarro mentioned Anthony, though she later said she was just teasing her.
Some Fans Noted That Navarro’s Co-Hosts Seem To Have Brought Her Habit Up Before
With the recent post, however, some fans came to Navarro’s defense. As they put it, The View places a lot of focus on the entertainment industry, so Navarro is simply playing it up. The talk show also gives her a more laid-back outlet to express herself, including the people she knows. As one fan wrote, “When you watch her on CNN, she is much better and much more business-like.”
Others were less than sympathetic and agreed with the original post. A few felt that it was a way of putting on airs.

Other fans genuinely questioned as to just how Navarro has met all the people she name-drops. A few even noted that the other co-hosts have called Navarro out on this, though in a tongue-in-cheek manner. Some comments included:
- “It’s especially weird when it’s only tangentially related to the topic. Who is supposed to be impressed by all of these celebrity connections? Because I’m not.”
- “Being impressed by someone rubbing shoulders with famous people is a thing of the past. No one cares anymore because no one cares about famous people the way they used to, especially the younger generations.”
- “Yes, and I’ve always wondered on how being a strategist on a string of failed presidential campaigns somehow got her in celebrity cliques.”
- “On the ‘Behind the Table’ podcast, they talk about their catch phrases that would make someone sip in a drinking game. Ana’s is ‘Eva Longoria, Marc Anthony, Cha Cha,’ and any one of us can keep adding to this list because it’s so easy.”
- “I love Ana’s political commentary and insights BUT she’s a total name dropper.”
