Kim Kardashian shares four kids with her ex-husband, Kanye West. The former couple’s oldest daughter, North West, reportedly struggled with her parents divorcing. But they seem to be on good terms now. By all accounts, the former couple spent the holidays together with all of their kids.
North West has made headlines over the last few months for experimenting with edgy looks, including shocking hair transformations, tattoos and facial piercings. Her parents have publicly supported their daughter’s journey of self-expression.
The couple’s oldest daughter, 12, took to Instagram this week to show off her latest shocking body modification. The tween. sporting sunglasses and blue hair, held her hand up to the camera, showing off a new finger piercing. She made headlines in November after getting a dermal piercing on her middle finger.
According to Healthline, dermal piercings differ from regular skin piercings. Regular piercings have both an entrance and an exit. Dermal piercings are one small hole where an “anchor” can be inserted in the skin in a surgical-like procedure.
In the new photo, North West revealed a second dermal piercing on her hand. This time, she got the piercing on her index finger, near the knuckle bone. According to health experts, the dermal piercings on the hand can be “risky” due to infection.
Social Media Reacts To Kim Kardashian Letting Tween Daughter Get Piercings
North West’s latest body art created a stir online, with many calling out her mother for letting her get the dangerous piercings.
