Shawn Johnson East doesn’t have the same body she did as a teenager, especially after having three children. She recently pushed herself to the limit by competing on Fox’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test alongside her husband, Andrew East. The contestants were put through mental and physical tests similar to basic training.
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Gia Giudice and Shawn Johnson East were the last two recruits standing at the end of Season 4, adding another huge win for the Olympic medalist.
She took to Instagram Story to share a look at how the grueling show completely changed her body. The Olympic athlete posted a photo from the end of the competition. Posing in a black tank top and black shorts, Shawn Johnson East circled all the visible bruises on her body.
“This was about an hour after I crossed the ‘finish line’ and got to finally go to a hotel,” she wrote. She revealed that she lost “10-15 pounds” while competing on the reality show.
Even after three kids, Shawn Johnson East had an athlete’s body before joining Special Forces. However, the intense competition transformed her body with weight loss and muscle.
