‘The View’ Joy Behar Sends Stern Warning To Ana Navarro
Viewers have often seen discussions get heated on episodes of The View. This was the case during one recent episode, which saw two co-hosts become engaged with one “hot topic” discussion. Things reached a point where another co-host had to issue a warning. So, what was the warning and ultimate outcome?
One Episode Of The View Got Intense With ‘Hot Topic’ Discussion
Since premiering in 1997, The View has seen many co-hosts discuss various current events at the table. The current line-up is made up of Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
Many of the hosts come from various backgrounds and have been on the show for different tenures. Behar has been part of The View since the beginning, while Griffin serves as the most recent co-host, permanently joining the show in 2022.

Over the years, the co-hosts haven’t always seen eye-to-eye with their discussions. During a recent episode, a clash occurred concerning current events regarding Greenland and Venezuela.
The episode’s very first “Hot Topic” concerned Republican outrage regarding Trump’s renewed attempt to purchase Greenland. Hostin wondered why some of the voices opposing the purchase of Greenland were fine with the recent capture of Venezuela’s president, Nicolás Maduro.
Hostin claimed that Greenland was not for sale, adding, “Neither is Venezuela, and nor is its oil ours. Yet, we went in, we took the president — I’ve called it a kidnapping, because I believe that’s what it is.”

After Hostin continued to compare the situations, Navarro disagreed, noting, Venezuela is a dictatorship, Greenland is not.” She continued, “Denmark is our ally, Greenland is our ally, we have military bases and operations in Greenland, Denmark is part of NATO, as we are, so we are part of one big alliance. Venezuela is a place where they kill, jail, and torture the opposition, where they repress human rights.”
Alyssa Farah Griffin Appeared To Agree With Joy Behar’s Sentiment
Throughout the discussion, Hostin and Navarro continued to clash. At one point, Hostin asked Navarro if she felt it was right to take Venezuela’s oil. This caused Navarro to share, “Venezuelans think it’s OK because Maduro stole it!”
As the discussion went on, the other co-hosts, such as Alyssa Farah Griffin, appeared to try to chime in. Eventually, Joy Behar issued a warning to keep the peace. As she shared, “Hold on! Ana, we’re on television!”

Farah Griffin agreed with the sentiment, adding, “I’m eight months pregnant, can we just all have a chance to speak? Like, what are we doing?” Though the co-hosts didn’t agree on everything, they appeared to take the advice to heart, finishing out the segment.
