Kelly Osbourne is noted for a number of different looks. However, one social media share from the star had her fans especially spooked. Since then, many have been sharing their reactions on social media, including a few compliments. Recently, some fans have also expressed concern for the star in their comments.
Kelly Osbourne Became Known To Many Fans Through The Osbournes
Kelly is the daughter of the late heavy metal star Ozzy Osbourne and television personality Sharon Osbourne. Many were introduced to her from the reality series, The Osbournes, which originally ran from 2002 to 2005.
Since then, Kelly has established herself with a variety of projects. This includes shows like Project Catwalk, Fashion Police, Dancing with the Stars, and Australia’s Got Talent. In addition, fans have also been following Kelly and her life on social media.
Kelly has often gotten fans talking about her appearance, but she recently gave fans a fright with an intentionally spooky share. In a video set to the Ghostbusters theme, Kelly lifted her hand to reveal a face covered in white makeup. With another transition, she appeared in a full Halloween costume.
Kelly’s costume was an homage to the classic movie, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, which starred Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. In the film, Davis’ character, “Baby” Jane Hudson, an aging former child star, torments her paraplegic sister Blanche, herself a former star, as they live together in a Hollywood mansion. The film is famous for its twist, which reveals the sister’s situation is more complicated than it appears.
A Few Others Got Into The Costume Fun, Including Kelly’s Son, Sidney
Kelly already gave fans a big clue on her costume in the post’s caption, “I’ve written a letter to daddy! #babyJane” This was a song Davis’ character sang when she was a child star on vaudeville. In context, the song is about a little girl singing to her father’s spirit in Heaven. Even as an adult, however, Jane holds onto her childhood fame, continuing to dress and cake herself in makeup like her vaudeville days.
In another video on Instagram, shared by designer Kay Sennitt and Kelly herself, it was noted that Kelly was donning this look for her brother Jack’s party. To help complete the look, her friend Daniel went as Blanche, donning an all-black look. Kelly’s son, Sidney, also joined in on the fun, dressing up like a mouse. This was possibly a nod to a famous scene in the film in which Jane serves her sister a dead rodent to eat.

Taking to the comments, many fans shared their reaction to the costume. Even those who recognized Kelly’s costume admitted they were spooked by it. Still, some thought Kelly nailed the look and praised the costume design.
That said, a few fans also shared concern for Kelly’s appearance, noting how she appeared to have been losing weight. Others defended her, with some noting she especially looked like her father. Some comments included:
