'The View' Fans Livid Over Controversial New Co-Host

A number of co-hosts have sat at the table on The View. Recently, one star announced she would be joining the table in the upcoming year. Since then, fans have been sharing their reactions to the idea on social media.

A New, Yet Familiar, Face Is Joining The View In 2026

Since 1997, fans have watched a number of co-hosts sit at the table on The View. Currently, the co-hosts include Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.

However, it was recently announced that viewers will soon see a new face at the table. This will take place after the show comes back from its holiday hiatus.

Chrisley Knows Best star Savannah Chrisley recently shared on her podcast that she would be joining The View. At the time, she shared, “I am cohosting The View the week of February 15th, so I’ll be on The View all week.”

Savannah also shared that doing the show would be out of her comfort zone. She noted, “I’m so excited for that because I like doing things that challenge me, [and] I like doing things that educate me.” As previously reported, her role is also notable as the co-hosts had previously discussed Savannah and her efforts to get her parents a presidential pardon.

Following Todd and Julie Chrisley’s presidential pardon back in May, the story was brought up on The View. At the time, Joy Behar shared, “According to this administration, if you are a reality star with a lot of money and a tax cheat, and you commit fraud, then that’s good. We’re going to give you a pardon at the time.”

Ana Navarro also shared, “This is not normal, this is not honest, this is not ethical. Basically, there is a huge for sale sign on the lawn of the White House. If you are a supporter, if you are a donor, then you can buy pardons.”

Fans Have Been Sharing Their Reactions To Savannah’s Share On Social Media

Since Savannah’s recent share, fans have also been discussing the idea of her co-hosting on social media. As one fan wrote on social media, “This is going to be interesting… thoughts?”

Taking to the comments, fans shared mixed reactions. As some mentioned, it appears that Savannah’s role will be temporary and shouldn’t impact the show too much going forward.

“What happened to having people with actual knowledge and experience in the legal, political, and historian fields? I feel like now more than ever we need to hear from experienced professionals.”
