Army Gynecologist Charged, Secretly Filmed Over 40 Patients
A Texas gynecologist has been charged after they allegedly filmed more than forty patients without consent or knowledge. So, when did this occur, and what will the ultimate penalty be for this crime? Keep reading for all of the details regarding the situation.
Texas Gynecologist Secretly Filmed 40 Patients
When going to see a gynecologist, especially a male, patients may notice a chaperone being called to the examination room. This can be for protective and legal purposes, safety, and more. It is a great practice, and can hopefully keep malpractice at a minimum. Unfortunately, bad things still happen every day, as was the case with a Fort Hood, Texas OB-GYN. Maj. Blaine McGraw had worked for several years in Honolulu, Hawaii, at Tripler Army Medical Center, but then headed over to Texas. He spent roughly a year at Fort Hood’s Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, allegedly recording patients without consent or knowledge.

Allegations were made against the doctor on October 17th, 2025. From there, a domino effect happened, and victims began to speak up and out. It appears that those who had been patients of Maj. Blaine McGraw previously shared their concerns about him and his behavior. However, they noted that it had been swept under the rug, and nothing was done to help them. A statement was released in November, and it had many claims as to what the victims went through that fell by the wayside:
“The allegations involve one of the most egregious violations of medical trust imaginable: non-consensual videotaping and photographing of patients during intimate medical examinations, coupled with improper sexual touching during OB-GYN procedures.”
1500 patients of the Texas doctor could be at risk and have been alerted as to what has gone on. Currently, Maj. Blaine McGraw is behind bars and has been charged with:
- 54 counts of indecent visual recording
- 5 counts of conduct unbecoming an officer
- 1 count of willful disobedience of a superior officer
- 1 count of making a false official statement
What’s Next For The Doctor?
Maj. Blaine McGraw will stay behind bars in Belton, Texas, but his trial date is still up in the air. However, the hope is that the victims will get the justice that they deserve. No one should ever have to go through something this traumatizing, and anyone who has heard the story is beyond sickened:
- Investigate and get rid of the creeps!
- 10 years for every victim, hard labor at Fort Leavenworth, dishonorable discharge.
- His actions are horrible and he should have been stopped
It was also noted by several followers that they have not heard great things about Fort Hood. They feel that there is always a problem there, and it needs some serious fixing. It is a tragic situation and never should have happened to begin with.
