Texas Teen Dies In ATV Crash, It Flips

A Texas teenager died in an ATV crash on November 29. Robert “Treb” McKinnon of Decatur, Texas, was the teenager who passed away. He was only 13 years old. This was devastating news. The ATV they were driving ended up flipping during the crash. This ended up not being good, and Treb ended up passing away.

“A gifted athlete and loyal friend, Treb had a way of making others laugh and feel welcomed. He dreamed of one day playing football for Ohio State and trained with the determination of someone far beyond his years. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, Friday night lights and every chance to be on the field with teammates and friends.”

This is extremely sad, and no one wishes this on anyone.

Three Other Friends Are Involved In The Crash

Three of Treb’s friends were also in the crash. One was airlifted to another hospital. While another had serious injuries but was treated at the hospital in Decatur. Lastly, one had minor injuries and was not taken by ambulance to the hospital. This happened over Thanksgiving weekend and was the worst news they could get. While Treb passed away, the other three survived. He will be greatly missed, and they will be holding his funeral on December 5. His GoFundMe has raised $13,000 to help his family with expenses.

It seems as though three other children were involved. One was in critical condition. However, the other two were okay afterwards. This was a sad situation for everyone involved.
