The move has left Jenna without a permanent co-host. They have had celebrities and other people fill in. However, people have been starting to wonder if this is how it is going to be all the time now. Maybe she will never have a permanent partner.
She Reveals Mom Tried To Change Her Kid’s Name
Jenna Bush Hager revealed that her mom tried to change the spelling of her daughter’s name. She named her daughter “Mila”. However, her mother did not like the spelling.
“We named our eldest daughter Mila, like a perfectly popular name. Afterward, my mom called and said, ‘In Texas, they’re calling her My-la, the way you spelled it. Lela is [spelled] L-E-L-A, maybe you change it to M-E-L-A.’ I was like, ‘You want me to change the spelling of my child’s name because in Texas they are mispronouncing it as My-la?’ She’s now 12, so when we named her Mila maybe it wasn’t quite so popular.”
Jenna was not going to change the spelling of her daughter’s name. However, her mother wanted her to since people were pronouncing it wrong. This shocked Jenna and her fans to hear this.
It seems as though Jenna’s mom wanted to change her daughter’s spelling from “Mila” to “Mela”. Jenna did not like this and told her mom she was not doing this. Jenna did not care if people in Texas were pronouncing it wrong. Now she says the name is more popular, and so it is not much of an issue. However, she was still shocked that her mom said this.
