‘When Calls The Heart’ Erin Krakow Makes Big Announcement
Actress Erin Krakow is known to many for starring on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart. Recently, she shared a big announcement with fans on social media. Many well-known figures, including some other Hallmark alumni, also reacted to the big news.
When Calls The Heart’s Erin Krakow Had Big News Right Ahead Of Thanksgiving
As an actress, Krakow first became known to audiences after appearing on Army Wives and Castle. However, for many, the Pennsylvania-born actress’ breakout role is starring as Elizabeth Thatcher on When Calls the Heart, a drama series set in Western Canada during the early 1910s, which premiered in 2014.
In addition to playing the lead role, Krakow also served as an executive producer on the show. Becoming a Hallmark staple, she’s also appeared in a multitude of their holiday films, including the Finding Father Christmas films, Blind Date Book Club, Santa Tell Me, and Christmas Above The Clouds.
In her personal life, Krakow is married to and co-star, Ben Rosenbaum, who plays Mike Hickam on When Calls the Heart. The couple previously announced that they had tied the knot back in June.
Recently, the couple had big news to share with fans on social media. Taking to Instagram, in a joint post, Erin and Ben appeared in a photo booth. In the first two photos, Erin could be seen holding up photos from an ultrasound, revealing that they were expecting a baby.
The photos also included the couple’s dog, who was wearing a shirt reading, “Big Brother,” highlighting the new addition to the family. The final photo showed Erin and Ben coming together in a kiss. In a caption, Erin wrote, “So much to be grateful for!!!”
The post was very much in the couple’s style, not revealing too much and letting pictures tell the story. When the couple announced their marriage, for instance, they kept things under wraps, not even revealing where they tied the knot.
A Few Other Hallmark Stars Congratulated The Couple Over The Big News In The Comments
In the comments, a few familiar names responded to the big news. When Calls the Heart’s official account shared a heart emoji, while Hallmark’s account wrote, “What amazing news! Congrats, you two!!”
A few actors known for Hallmark projects also reacted to the news. Cameron Mathison, who is known for appearing on American soaps in addition to various Hallmark movies, wrote, “Omg yay!!!!,” adding on a few heart emojis. Actress Ashley Williams, meanwhile, teased, “I’m gonna be a godmother!!!”

Taking to the comments, many fans also showed their excitement over the big news. With the post coming out right before the holidays, a few noted that it was fitting that this news was coming from Hallmark stars.
