Pawn Stars Rick Harrison Suffers Another Heartbreaking Family Loss
Rick Harrison is one of the beloved stars on the History Channel’s Pawn Stars. The show features his family’s Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, Nevada. The businessman, 50, happily got engaged to his girlfriend, Angie Polushkin, earlier this year despite backlash. They plan to wed next year. Unfortunately, an important member of his family won’t be there to witness the happy union.
TMZ reported on November 6 that the reality star suffered a heartbreaking family loss. His mother, Joanna Harrison, passed away the day before. The outlet noted that his mother died at a hospital in Las Vegas.
Rick Harrison’s rep confirmed the news to TMZ but didn’t share any details. The family is mourning the loss in private. The family matriarch was 85.

Previously Lost His Father & Son
Rick Harrison has now lost both of his parents. His father, Richard Harrison, passed away in 2018 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease.
The star of Pawn Stars suffered another heartbreaking loss in 2024 when his son, Adam Harrison, died from an accidental fentanyl and methamphetamine overdose. He was just 39 years old. Adam was one of Rick Harrison’s six children. His surviving children are sons Corey, Jake, and three daughters named Sarina, Ciana, and Marissa.

Season 23 of Pawn Stars wrapped up in April. The show’s contract with the History Channel reportedly expired, putting the future of the show in question. So far, the network hasn’t announced plans for another season.
