Candace Cameron Bure Hits The Big Screen With Christmas Movie
It’s not Christmas without a Candace Cameron Bure movie. In a shocking move, she left the Hallmark Channel for the newly created Great American Family Channel in 2022. She starred in movies for Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas for over a decade. GAC has a competing movie marathon called Great American Christmas. Both events kick off in October.

Candace Cameron Bure’s daughter, Natasha, joins her on-screen again for the 2025 Christmas movie Timeless Tidings of Joy. The movie airs on Great American Family on Saturday, November 15, at 8 PM Eastern.
She also stars in another Christmas movie with General Hospital star Cameron Mathison. But Another Sweet Christmas won’t air on Great American Family until next year. Instead, it will be released in movie theaters only this Christmas. Fans can see it on the big screen between November 30 and December 2, 2025, in select theaters, including one in Porter Ranch, California.

Growing up on television can come with consequences. For Candace Cameron Bure, viewers are always commenting on her appearance. In one episode of Full House, her character, D.J., collapsed on a treadmill after trying to lose weight for a pool party.
As an adult, Candace Cameron Bure revealed how close that was to her real life. She shared that she struggled with an eating disorder when she was a teenager. She still struggles with it today.
The Great American Family star got vulnerable on the Worship is My Weapon with Rita Springer podcast. Candace Cameron Bure called bulimia a “thorn in her side.” The actress admitted to fighting off the eating disorder mentality all the time with the help of God.

Candace Cameron Bure has been outspoken about her faith. It’s one of the reasons why she left Hallmark for GAC, which aligns more with her beliefs. She told the podcast host that God helps her make the eating disorder thoughts obedient to Him.
Later in the podcast, she was asked what the one thing she wished women would never question about God was. Candace Cameron Bure broke down in tears over the question. She said that she wished women never had to question their “worth and value” in God’s eyes.
