However, he decided it was his time to be done with the show. He left, and fans were sad to hear this. A lot of people wondered if he would ever return to the show for a season. However, after what Blake had to say about The Voice, that does not seem to be a possibility. He is now on the show The Road with Keith Urban.

He Calls Out The Voice For Not Prioritizing Right Thing

Blake Shelton has called out The Voice for not prioritizing the right thing. He is hoping The Road is better about it all.

“I think we found stars. Because they will perform an original song. Some of those original songs will take off and go viral, whether they win or not. Their music will be available when the show airs, so they won’t have to wait for the end of the show to buy their music. By the time the artist wins the show, [the TV people] have already moved on to the next season. But also, that show was more about the coaches, and that’s why it was so popular. [It’s] not as much [focused] on the artists.”

Fans were shocked to hear him call out the show like that. However, they did not disagree.

It seems as though Blake does not like how The Voice prioritizes the coaches and not the artists. He thinks that they make the show around the famous names of the coaches.
