‘DWTS’ Robert Irwin Stops Thief Who Tried To Take His Stuff
Season 34 Dancing With the Stars celebrity dancer, Robert Irwin, just stopped a thief attempting to snatch his stuff. He has been excelling this season of DWTS alongside Witney Carson, but when he needed to jump into action, he was ready and raring to go. So, what exactly went down? Keep reading for more details.
Robert Irwin Stops Thief
It has been quite the ride for Beerwah, Queensland, Australia-based Robert Irwin. The animal advocate grew up in front of the cameras due to his father, Steve’s, dedication to all creatures, big and small. Sadly, Steve Irwin passed away in 2006, and now, his family has been keeping the legacy alive. They have remained in the public eye with Steve’s daughter, Bindi Irwin, competing and winning Season 21 of Dancing With the Stars. She did so with Derek Hough, and then there was chatter that her brother, Robert, may be joining in 2024.
He came onto DWTS in 2025 alongside Witney Carson, although many wanted him with Rylee Arnold. Since Season 34 began, fans have fallen deeper in love with Robert. Now, he is sharing the time he stopped thieves in a heroic measure. One of his passions is photography, which is reflected in his social media handle. However, someone attempted to steal his equipment, something Robert says happens regularly. He was traveling through Nairobi, and when he landed, his photography equipment was MIA. That was when he spotted a stranger with it after heading to baggage claim.
Robert Irwin stated that his case was very obvious to him as it was decorated and unique. No one could make the mistake that it was theirs, so the DWTS competitor proceeded to chase the thief. Robert told the gent that it was his equipment, but what happened next?
“And he looks at me and he looks around at everyone and gives it to me and then just takes off running. But this happens all the time. It happens everywhere, all around the world.”
Despite this happening, it has not stopped Robert from following his passion. He will keep on showcasing the beauty of the world as long as he can.

It has been hard for Dancing With the Stars viewers to watch Robert Irwin weekly. They saw him from birth until now, and he is no longer a little boy. He had an underwear campaign as well as a calendar for 2026. Plus, he can dance like no other and is a top contender to win Season 34 of DWTS.
