‘Young & Restless’ Noah Newman Is An Imposter?
Fans of The Young and the Restless recently saw things take a dark turn for Noah Newman. However, some fans believe that things could be even more sinister than they appear. In particular, some viewers suspect Noah himself isn’t who he appears to be.
Something Strange Might Have Happened With Noah’s Recent Accident As Nick & Sharon Look For Answers
Recently on the soap, Nick and Sharon learned that Noah had gotten caught in a car accident. Having to undergo an emergency surgery, it came to light that there was swelling in Noah’s brain, with doctors putting him in a coma to keep things from getting worse.
Evidence has come out suggesting that the accident was actually the result of foul play. According to Detective Burrow, a witness claimed to have seen another vehicle drive into Noah’s car. With an ongoing investigation, a dark revelation could come to light.

However, some fans already suspect that another twist could take place and it’s closer to Nick and Sharon than they realize. In particular, they suspect the Noah seen in the hospital, with a face covered in bandages, isn’t the real Noah.
On social media, fans have been sharing screenshots of Noah, noting that he looks larger. This got some fans talking, noting that this could set up the twist that “Noah” is an imposter or someone mistaken for him.
As one fan noted, “Someone had the idea that it isn’t Noah but someone driving with Noah’s belongings.” In particular, while Noah’s face could simply be bandaged for dramatic effect, there could be a more practical reason behind it.
Fans Could Soon Be Seeing Noah Wearing A Brand New Face On The Young And The Restless
Another fan shared, “Surely, there’s no way they’d wrap him up like that for no reason (they switch actors all the time and don’t bother), this HAS to be for a storyline because they’ll do surgery and he’ll look different, so they won’t know it’s not him for quite a while (hello, new drawn out storyline).”
That said, not all fans agree with the idea, especially following recent news announced for the soap. With Noah’s return, actor Lucas Adams is set to step into the role, with Rory Gibson previously playing the role.

As noted by Parade, he is expected to make a proper debut on the soap in early November. In other words, fans currently have to wait to see him make him in Genoa City.
Fans Continued To Weigh In On The Idea On Social Media
With this, it makes sense that Noah will look different. For the time being, it appears that an uncredited actor is playing the role in the interim, explaining why the character’s face is being covered up. On the other hand, the soap could still take advantage of the upcoming switch to Adams to have a mistaken identity storyline.
That said, at this point, anything could happen on the soap. Ultimately, viewers will need to keep watching The Young and the Restless to see what happens next in Genoa City. However, this hasn’t kept fans from taking to social media to weigh in on what could happen next.

A few fans do like the idea of it not being the real Noah, but others think the hidden face is to be expected. Of course, as some commenters noted, whatever happens could lead to even further twists on the show. Some comments included:
- “But if this isn’t really Noah, where is Noah?”
- “That might as well be me under the bandages. How do you know he got bigger lmao it can be anyone.”
- “No one can see his face! He required extensive surgery. Of course, he’s going to look different.”
- “Seeing as they got a new actor to play him, it’d be pretty remarkable if he looked the same.”
- Who cares, Noah’s story lines never go anywhere, and he is usually gone after a year or so.”
