‘AGT’ Fans Livid Over Unexpected Changes To Live Show

Unusual Sign America’s Got Talent Is Ending?
America’s Got Talent reached a huge milestone this season that reality shows rarely see these days. This season is the show’s twentieth season on the air. The popular reality show has been through different judges over the years, but what never changes is the level of talent among the contestants.
Season 20 kicked off in May with a slew of talented performers, including reality star Tom Sandoval and his band looking for their big break to stardom. The Vanderpump Rules star was eliminated during the quarterfinals in August.
The remaining acts battle is out tonight in the AGT season finale.
Fans of the show have been disappointed in Season 20. They worry the show won’t continue after this season. One disgruntled fan took to social media to share what might be a clue that the show is on its way out.
“Budget seems way lower this year than other years,” they wrote on social media. The AGT viewer added, “Remember when they used to have elaborate set designs a few years back? Rose parade float looking sets? Now they’re just using screens and lasers. Most of the special guests they have this time for finals are agt alumni too. Back then they used to have top charting artists special guest.”
AGT Fans Livid Over Unexpected Changes To Live Show
Fans of the show don’t have to worry about it ending for good just yet. AGT was already renewed for Season 21 for the 2026 TV schedule.
But before that happens, they have to announce a winner for the current season. The ten finalists performed for the last time for votes during Tuesday’s episode. A winner will be announced in tonight’s season finale.
In a move that shocked and confused fans, the AGT Season 20 finale starts at 9 PM Eastern instead of its usual 8 PM timeslot. A recap show of the finalists airs at 8 PM on Wednesday, September 24.

- Jourdan Blue (Singer)
- Chris Turner (Rapper)
- LightWire (Projectionists)
- Sirca Marea (Acrobats)
- Micah Palace (Rapper)
- Mama Duke (Rapper)
- Team Recycled (Dance Troupe)
- Steve Ray Ladson (Singer-Songwriter)
But some fans are still upset about the last elimination. One fan wrote on social media, “No offense to the choir, but the TT boys were a top 4 act last night, let alone top 6. Just humiliatingly bad from America.”
Another added, “TT Boys need to b brought in to the finals; like create a spot for them.”
