Jenn Tran met Sasha Farber hours after crying her eyes out on After The Final Rose in August 2024. She was offered a last-minute slot on Season 33 of Dancing With The Stars and met Sasha at the airport when they flew to NYC for the cast reveal on Good Morning America.
Viewers clocked the chemistry between Jenn and Sasha from their very first dance together. But the dancer partners played coy for months about whether they were actually dating or just friends. Once she was eliminated, it became clear that they were more than friends. She lived with him in L.A. for a time.
But then she went back to her ‘normal’ life and resumed her college studies to become a Physician’s Assistant. The distance was too much and they broke up in June 2025.
Jenn Tran has continued to post about her life on social media, but never posted anything about her love life until now. She posted a photo of a mystery man with his back to the camera as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
Several fans thought the mystery man, dressed in white pants and a black shirt, was Jonathon Johnson. Fans have been begging Jonathon and Jenn to get together since their flirtatious behavior last summer.
Jonathon Johnson Responds
Jonathon Johnson’s social media comments were flooded with questions about his relationship status with the former Bachelorette. He finally addressed the speculation in a TikTok video.
He made a video reply to the comment, “Kinda looks like Jonathon but it’s probably not.” The video zoomed to a chair with a hand-written sign that said, “It’s not.”

Clue Sasha Farber Isn’t Over Jenn
The identity of the man in the photo remains a mystery. It’s almost certainly not Devin Strader. The man in the photo is quite tall, which rules out Sasha Farber. But Sasha seems to still hold a candle for Jenn.
A new season of DWTS premiered on Tuesday, which made Jenn and Sasha both look back at their time on the show.
Jenn Tran made a post on Instagram reflecting on her time on the dance competition. She wrote, “I can’t believe it’s been ONE YEAR since my lil dancing debut. SO incredibly grateful I got to experience a little bit of the magic in the ballroom and it will forever be one of the best eras of my life!!!!” before wishing the Season 34 contestants luck.
Sasha Farber dropped five heart-eyes emojis on the post. Fans praised the former couple’s friendship, with some fans begging them to get back together.
