Ashley Jones Shares ‘Extreme Sadness’
Swamp People fans have fallen in love with Ashley Jones and miss her desperately after she exited the series. She was a staple for six seasons until her priorities changed, and she said goodbye, but everyone still wants to keep up with her. So, Ashley makes sure that her social media is frequently updated so that her trials and tribulations can be followed. Unfortunately, life takes turns, and a recent unexpected one has shaken Ashley to the core. She detailed the passing of someone extremely important to her, and it has impacted her in the worst way.
Via her social media, Ashley shared that her favorite aunt has passed away. Although she takes solace in knowing that her aunt is reunited with Ashley’s grandpa, it is still a hard pill to swallow. Additionally, Ashley cited her aunt’s love for Jesus, so she knew that she was in good company. However, it was noted that her aunt’s son had died, as well, so he was likely the first to get a hug. She loved concerts and was deemed a “groupie” by Ashley, and more of a best friend than anything else. Telling her kids of this death is going to be something she is dreading having to do, so she will take time for herself.

The former Swamp People star stated that she could not deal with what happened. Therefore, she has taken to the bed and will eat takeout. This is the best way to relax after receiving such dreadful news and having a broken heart. Fortunately, Ashley Jones has amazing followers who are supporting her through this devastating loss and offering as much support as possible. They chimed in with loving and kind words to ease the pain.
