A dead body was recently found in an impounded Hollywood Tesla trunk on Monday, September 8th, 2025. So, how was it discovered, and is there a motive or person behind this tragedy? Keep reading for more details on this horrific situation.

Body Found In Impounded Tesla Trunk

In a sick, twisted, and unexpected discovery, a dead body was found in the trunk of an impounded Tesla. This happened on Monday, September 8th, 2025, in Hollywood, California. No one knew that there was anything suspicious until they noticed a horrid odor emitting from the car. That was when human remains were discovered, and the police became actively involved. The tow lot where the car is being held has become a crime scene based on what was found. This makes a lot of sense, as there are so many questions, but the first guess would have been the owner of the car.

The authorities have set up shop to ensure that this crime is solved, but it is not that easy. Currently, the LAPD is looking into the death. As of now, no suspects have been listed or spoken of, but followers have a lot to say. They questioned whether or not Teslas had cameras, and if so, this should be an easy case. Per the car’s statistics, they are “equipped with multiple cameras.” To be exact, there are 7 or 8 cameras outside the car with an extra camera inside. Others wondered how long the car had been impounded before the smell was evident.

The reason this has come up is because it is believed that cars are fully searched prior to being impounded. Therefore, this crime could have occurred after the car was taken in, but someone would have had to have access to the trunk. It was also pointed out that this was allegedly a police lot. That means something is both off and fishy, and could have been an insider job. Regardless, there is so much that followers want answers about and are just waiting for the LAPD to speak up.

The Tesla Crime

As aforementioned, Teslas are equipped with nearly ten cameras, both inside and out. Therefore, it should not be hard to roll the footage and see who committed this crime. However, the cameras only work if the car is in Sentry Mode. So, if the perpetrator knew how the cars worked, they could very easily disable this mode to commit the crime. Still, so much was lingering around this alleged murder:

  • Hopefully not a kid playing hide and seek
  • How would you miss a body? Someone got some explaining to do!
  • Do they not check these cars when they drop them off…that was like when that car was impounded after a dui and the victim was still in the car and the family said the mom was missing…geez

Hopefully, this mystery will be solved soon rather than later, and all questions will be answered. Until then, all eyes are on the shady impound lot and where they may have gone wrong.

Does this story make you question Teslas, and do you utilize the cameras in these cars if you have one? Moreover, does it all sound suspicious and like an insider job? Let us know all of your thoughts on the situation in the comments below.

*UPDATE: It appears that the Tesla belonged to singer D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke. As of now, it is unclear who the body is and if it is directly related to D4vd. He was just posting on social media, but could that have been a decoy?
