Kelly Jo Bates is speaking out via the family blog about what is going on with her daughter, Erin. Recently, Erin ended up in the ICU after having her 7th baby and has not been doing very well. Now, fans are concerned about the idea of her having more children in the future.

There was a recent update on Erin Bates on Facebook from Kelly Jo Bates. In this update, they were asking for prayers and saying that things weren’t going well. This caused a lot of fans to lash out about Erin having more children. They don’t feel like it is a good idea or something she should do. The Bates family has made it clear they will have as many children as God wants to bless them with, though.
Things seem to be looking up for Erin since this post was made. The latest update says, “We have a new update on Erin. She is on the road to recovery. We are so thankful to God and the medical staff that are taking care of Erin and Henry. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.” The family has been doing a really good job of keeping the fans updated on how she is doing. It is great news that Erin looks like she is doing better.
Kelly Jo Bates Defends Erin Having More Children
One fan was speaking out, defending Erin, saying that this can even happen with your first child, and did to her friend. She wants everyone to know that it isn’t just the fact that this is Erin’s 7th child. Because of this, Kelly Jo Bates came back at her in the comments, agreeing with what she had to say. Here is what she said:
“People just want to use any kind of an excuse to say this is why they should not have any more children. It is a bit sad in my opinion that you have to use a UTI and kidney infection as an excuse to not to have more children.”

I don’t think anyone has a right to give advice to Chad and Erin about having more children.
It is up to them and God to decide. If it really upset Chad as much as he said it did to see Erin so sick, he would use the common sense God gave him and say absolutely not any more children. Common Sense people. That would be the end of the debate.
