'The View' Who Is Coming Back For New Season 29?

The View is set to return with Season 29. With the series showcasing a number of co-hosts over the years, fans are wondering if they’ll be seeing some changes on the show. This includes seeing new faces and saying goodbye to familiar ones. ABC has since confirmed what fans could expect concerning the show’s future.

A New Season Of The View Is Right Around The Corner

The View first came out in 1997. As fans know, various women panelists come together and discuss various “Hot Topics” on the show.

In addition, multiple co-hosts have been part of the show over the years. This includes the late journalist and series creator Barbara Walters. Other former co-hosts include Meredith Vieira, Star Jones, Rosie O’Donnell, and Candace Cameron Bure.

Most recently, fans have seen Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin take on hosting duties for the show. With the show returning for 29, fans are wondering if there will be any changes to the line-up.

According to Deadline, the six co-hosts are all expected to return for the new season. ABC has also confirmed that a few more familiar aspects of the show are expected to return.

A Few Of The Talk Show’s Spin-Offs Are Also Expected To Return

According to the network, The View‘s podcast series, “Behind the Table,” will also return. The podcast, which is hosted by series executive producer Brian Teta, features the co-hosts sharing their reactions to what happened on the show.

Fans will also see the return of The Weekend View. This edition of the talk show will return on September 12. It will feature The View‘s “Friday panel with Behar as moderator alongside Haines, Navarro, Hostin, and Griffin.”

Season 29 of The View will return on ABC on September 8, 2025, at 11 PM ET. The new season has already seen a new trailer drop. As seen in the clip, the co-hosts all came together to share, “Okay, people, the countdown is on to an all-new season of The View.” Goldberg could also be heard saying, “This is why you should always keep coming back to ‘The View,’ because you never know what’s going to happen.”

As previously reported, a few upcoming guests have already been teased for the new season. This includes Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Heming, Sonia Sotomayor, Eli Manning, Tim Allen, America Ferrera, and Matthew McConaughey.
