One Bachelor In Paradise couple was going to walk away with either love or heartbroken but rich with money. In a first for the spinoff, the contestants were given the chance to win a huge cash prize if they successfully completed the relationship challenges with their partner.
Only five couples remained going into the season finale – Alexe Godin and Andrew Spencer, Bailey Brown and Jeremy Simon, and Kat Izzo and Dale Moss, and Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley, and Golden stars Kathy Swarts and Keith Gordon.
In a surprising twist, Kathy and Keith quit the show to give the younger generation a chance at the money. Bailey and Jeremy were voted off after trying to sway votes against Jess and Spencer. After Kat and Dale were eliminated, only Jess and Spencer, and Alexe and Andrew were left.
Jesse Palmer revealed another twist – both couples could potentially win money or choose love. All four contestants chose love and were rewarded with money. Alexe and Andrew took home $125,000. Jess and Spencer took home $190,000 and also got engaged.
