Kylie Jenner, Katy Perry, and Jennifer Lopez were among the clients of Jesus Guerrero. The hairstylist was battling an illness for months before his death in February. He went to the hospital to seek treatment but there was nothing they could do.
The medical examiner ruled that the cause of death was pneumonia and a fungal infection. NBC News reported that these were likely complications from AIDS.
Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez attended the funeral services. Katy Perry missed them because she was on tour. The Kardashians star also paid for the funeral.

Kylie Jenner was heartbroken over her friend’s death. While she may have been a longtime client, she was close friends with Jesus Guerrero. She honored her friend over the weekend with a social media post.
She marked what would have been the hairstylist’s 35th birthday with a sweet tribute. Kylie Jenner shared a photo of a simple white birthday cake with five candles. The frosted cake had strawberries and leaves on it.
“Not a day goes by that we don’t think about you. Happy heavenly birthday. You’re forever loved and missed,” she wrote. The photo was posted on her Instagram Story.
The famous reality star recently celebrated a birthday of her own. The mom-of-two turned 28 on August 10. She posted a video on Instagram of the festivities. Fans immediately noticed that Kylie’s boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet.
The couple – who have been dating for two years – sparked breakup rumors when he wasn’t at her birthday party. But Us Weekly reported that he sent gifts and FaceTimed with her.
While she didn’t have her boyfriend there, Kylie Jenner enjoyed her big day. She captioned the post, “Best birthday ever!!!!!!! I’m so grateful to my family and friends for making this weekend so special and full of love. 28 feels so good!!!!”
She gave a special shout-out to her sister, Kendall, for planning the birthday party. “I’m so lucky to have you,” Kylie wrote.
