Jelly Roll Flaunts 200-Lb Weight Loss Riding Scooter
At his heaviest, Jelly Roll weighed over 500 pounds. The country singer has since lost nearly half his weight and isn’t stopping yet. He has dreams of posing on the cover of a men’s health magazine next year. His weight loss means he gets to experience things we take for granted for the first time in his life, like riding a scooter around town.
Jelly Roll ‘Proud’ After Running 5K
Jelly Roll became a household name in 2022 after the release of his hit songs “Son of a Sinner” and “I Need a Favor.” While he was new on the country music scene, he wasn’t new to music. He’d been trying to break through as a rapper for years.
He decided in 2023 that he needed to lose weight after tipping the scales at over 500 pounds. Instead of hopping on the Ozempic trend, Jelly Roll did it the natural way with diet and exercise.
The singer ran his first 5K marathon earlier this year. He spoke about what that meant to him at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May.
“It was so awesome. I was proud of myself. I know this is gonna be like not a fun time for people, but I did like 46 and a half minutes, and when I did my first 5K, I walked it at a 37 minute mile. It took me like an hour and 40 something minutes to walk my first 5K. I knocked an hour off of it in a year,” he said about the experience.

Jelly Roll has done a lot of other firsts besides running a marathon after drastic weight loss. He recently fulfilled his dream of being a professional wrestler by getting in the ring at WWE’s SummerSlam event. He teamed up with Randy Orton in a tag-team match against Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. Jelly Roll and Randy Orton were defeated after Logan Paul pinned the country singer.
Another huge first for Jelly Roll is finally touring Europe and beyond. He previously wasn’t able to tour outside of the U.S. But his summer tour with Post Malone jetted off to Europe this week.
While he was in Italy ahead of a performance, Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie XO, played tourists. She posted a video on social media of her husband riding a scooter around the city. He had a huge smile on his face like he was a kid again.
His fans took to the comments to react to his huge weight loss.
