Jelly Roll has shared a lot about his health journey as his music career has taken off. Recently, the singer has gotten fans talking about his weight loss in a video shared on social media. Someone very close to the star also had something to say about the story.
Jelly Roll Appeared With A Special Someone In A Recent TikTok Video
Jason Bradley DeFord, also known as Jelly Roll, saw his career in music take off in the early 2020s. Since then, he’s also become something of a media personality, especially with his appearances on American Idol.
The singer has been married to wife, Alyssa DeFord, also known as Bunnie Xo, since 2016. For her part, Bunnie Xo is also well-known as a podcaster and a social media personality. The two are also known for sharing various moments of their lives together with fans on social media.
In a recent video on TikTok, Bunnie Xo shared a scene with her husband. As a caption read, “When you have to check and make sure he’s still your squish after all the weight loss.”
As previously reported, Jelly Roll has been sharing his weight loss journey with fans over the past few months. Speaking with People in mid-2024, the singer admitted that walking had really helped him gain control, sharing that he even got into running marathons.
Speaking with the publication, Jelly Roll shared, “I’ve been really kicking a**, man. I’m doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week. I’m doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week. I’m doing 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in a cold plunge every day. I’m eating healthy right now.”
Earlier this month, the singer shared another milestone in a video with the Tennessee Titans shared on X. As part of a speech, he shared, “I lost 200 pounds. I told coach I’m getting a contract if I lose another 50.”

In the video, Bunnie Xo tried to hug her husband before jokingly slamming into him. Fortunately, they show it’s all in good fun as they give into a hug.
Jelly Roll still acts a bit mischievous, even lowering his hands as he held onto his wife. However, it all ends with a kiss between the couple.
Taking to the comments, many fans praised Jelly Roll for his weight loss journey. One fan shared that it was certainly doing him favors, writing, “He looks 10 years younger!”

Gotta be honest about JellyRoll. when I first started seeing him. I have to admit I did not like him. The tats is what got to me, still don’t care for them. However, as time went by and I saw how he has become an interesting part of seeing how he has changed. Not about his weight loss which is fantastic but how he became one if God’s children. He has a heart of gold as the old saying goes. I thank him for all he is trying to do for all those youngins when his and Bonnie’s place in Tennessee is finally finished. It kinda reminds me of the place years ago in Texas, Bro Lester Roloff.
