America’s Got Talent: Some Fans Think Mel B Is Being Groomed To Take Simon Cowell’s Place
With each new season of America’s Got Talent, many fans speculate that Simon Cowell is getting closer and closer to retirement. Even though Simon does not seem to be showing any signs of slowing down, most fans think he may not have long left before he eventually hangs it up.
Some America’s Got Talent fans have even speculated that the show is grooming Mel B to eventually take Simon’s place. Viewers have noted that Mel B often gives critiques similar to Simon, and it would not be a stretch to think that the show is already planning for a future without him.
AGT Fans Call Out Simon And Mel B For Their Antics
One of the things that America’s Got Talent fans noted recently is the obvious “tension” between Simon Cowell and Mel B in scenes from the show. While the famous pair go back a long way, and while they do consider themselves friends, some viewers have gone on to question whether there is a legitimate feud brewing between these two as they jockey for position and try to one-up the other.
- One recent commenter said, “am i the only one who felt like there was tension? it felt like after one or the other said something indifferent it panned to the other person showing an annoyed face… this season is my first all ep watch so maybe i’m missing something in the relationship?”
- A second commenter added, “they are working together like from 20 years …they know each other atleast for 30 years when spice girls werent even famous … i dont think so they had a tension they just like annoy each other alot…also i have heard rumours of them dating which id ont think true idk thier relation is complicated beside if simon didnt like her he will not bring her back soooo.”
- A third person chimed in, adding, “It’s kind of a bit they have. A few seasons ago they had a thing where she would try to pour her water on him actually; it’s mostly just play fighting.”
