HGTV Star Jenny Marrs Shares ‘Fixer To Fabulous’ Update Amid Tragedy
Jenny and Dave Marrs are well-known to HGTV fans through their series, Fixer to Fabulous. Recently, Jenny had an update to share with fans on social media. This also comes out amid a recent tragedy impacting the Marrs family.
HGTV Star Jenny Talked About A ‘Tragic Pivot’ During A Recent Social Media Share
Jenny and Dave Marrs have been hosting Fixer to Fabulous since 2019. Since then, HGTV fans have also watched them on various spin-offs, like Fixer to Fabulous: Italiano and Fixer to Fabulous: Welcome Inn.
Fans recently saw Season 6 of Fixer to Fabulous come out earlier this year. Since then, Jenny Marrs has taken to Instagram to share an update concerning the show.
In a recent post, Jenny and Dave appeared in a photo together alongside their children. In a caption, Jenny shared the news of a recent project: “Today was a very special reveal day. This project started many months ago and began as an exciting and super fun remodel for a friend who is like family.”
Jenny revealed that the family faced a recent tragedy. However, she didn’t get into the specifics. As she shared, “It then took the most unexpected and tragic pivot we have ever experienced in our twenty years of building homes. But today? Today, there was joy.”
Jenny hinted that fans will learn more of the story in time, noting, “I can’t wait to share the whole story and the whole project with you all. This one is all about beauty from ashes.”
Fans Shared Their Anticipation On Hearing About More Of The Story
Towards the end, Jenny teased with a Season 7 hashtag. At the time, she noted that there wasn’t a set air date just yet, but she mused that the show could come out this fall. Mike Davello was also credited as the picture’s photographer.
Jenny’s update is also notable as many HGTV stars have shared that their shows have come to an end on a network. This has included shows like Bargain Block, Married to Real Estate, Izzy Does It, Farmhouse Fixer, and Battle on the Beach.

As previously reported, back in April, Jenny previously teased a seventh season during an earlier Instagram post. Before Season 6 had finished airing, she revealed she would soon be working on the next season, with production lasting towards the end of the year.
Taking to the comments, many fans shared that they were excited to hear more about the story. A few also complimented the family on the photo, as well as showing sympathy over the reported tragedy. Some comments included:
