Sharon Osbourne Breaks Silence After Ozzy’s Death
Black Sabbath frontman and television personality Ozzy Osbourne recently passed away at the age of 76, following his final show with Black Sabbath in Villa Park. Since then, his spouse, Sharon Osbourne, has opened up about the news. This comes out as many prominent figures have shared their condolences to the star’s passing.
Ozzy Osbourne, 76, Passed Away 17 Days Following His Final Performance
Ozzy Osbourne came to fame as the lead singer of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath. In the 2000s, he and his family became known to audiences as the focus of the reality series The Osbournes.
Tragically, Ozzy passed away at the age of 76 on July 22, 2025, in his family home in Buckinghamshire. This notably took place around a few weeks after his final live performance at the “Back to the Beginning” concert in Villa Park.

Following his passing, Ozzy’s spouse, Sharon Osbourne, recently opened up about the loss, responding to various condolences shared by fans on social media. She had been married to the heavy metal singer since 1982.
Sharon Also Released A Joint Statement Over Ozzy’s Final Moments
On social media, Bush singer Gavin Rossdale shared an image of himself with Ozzy on Instagram. The post was captioned, “RIP OZZY – a great man – a true legend – I met Ozzy through Jack just a few times, but he was so warm and kind and funny and I love that memory. Sending much love to his family at this difficult time. Rest in power.”
Sharon wrote “bless you” in response to the share. She also shared a response to a recent Ozzy tribute from BBC Radio 1 DJ Jack Saunders. At the time, she shared, “Jack, thank you for your tribute to Ozzy tonight, bless you,” on Instagram.

As noted by The U.S. Sun, Ozzy passed away at the family mansion while surrounded by family, including Sharon and four of his six children. Sharon shared in a joint statement that her husband had been “surrounded by love.”
Sharon was the daughter of Black Sabbath’s manager, Don Arden. She first met Ozzy when she was 18 and working as her father’s receptionist. She is the mother to three of his children, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack.

The Black Sabbath singer shared in his autobiography, I Am Ozzy, “I fell for Sharon so badly, man.” He also shared, “I’d never come across a girl who was like me. Wherever we went, we were always the drunkest and the loudest.:
“I learned that when Sharon is on a mission, she’ll throw herself at it, lock, stock and barrel, and not stop fighting until well after the bell’s rung. I trusted Sharon like I’d never trusted anyone before on the business side of things.”
