Ozzy Osbourne’s Family Puts Out Statement
Ozzy Osbourne’s family has put out a statement about his death today at the age of 76. Ozzy did share in 2020 that he was suffering from Parkinson’s disease. Here is what they had to say:
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.”
Ozzy has been in bad health over the years but has been pushing through for those final shows. Fans were excited to get the chance to see him one last time.

Ozzy’s Final Show
Ozzy’s final show was full of great performances. He had some of his favorite bands there to include Metallica, who has been on a huge arena tour lately. Guns N Roses was also there for a performance. At the time, Ozzy said “You’ve no idea how I feel – thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Ozzy Osbourne even shared at one point that he thought he might die on stage. That isn’t what happened, though. He said, “By hook or by crook, I am going to make this f—— gig if it is the last thing I do. Well, it will be.” Ozzy didn’t die on stage, but he did make it to the final show that meant so much to him.
Ozzy also talked about mental health. He shared, “My head is crazy. ADHD, I have that badly. I will have done the show and died a death before I even started my exercises, so I try and put it on the back burner.” Ozzy even admitted to still getting stage fright from time to time, but he did a great job of still performing.
In 2023, he talked about retiring from touring, saying, “[I]n all good conscience, I have now come to the realization that I’m not physically capable of doing my upcoming European/U.K. tour dates, as I know I couldn’t deal with the travel required. Believe me when I say that the thought of disappointing my fans really FUCKS ME UP, more than you will ever know. Never would I have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way.”
