Steve Burton & New Wife Share Rare Footage Of Blended Family
General Hospital fans are excited about the possibility of a Jason and Britt reunion after actress Kelly Thiebaud returned to the show. In real life, Steve Burton found love again after a shocking divorce. He shared a rare glimpse at his blended family after marrying Michelle Lundstrom.
Steve Burton’s First Marriage Ended After Infidelity
Steve Burton was married to his first wife, Sheree, for over twenty years. The couple share three children together: Makena, Brooklyn, and Jack. In May 2022, Sheree took to Instagram to announce that she was pregnant with her fourth child. The General Hospital star quickly informed fans that the former couple were separated and he wasn’t the father of the new baby.
He never gave details, but fans suspected that his first wife cheated on him. The divorce was finalized in 2023, and Sheree welcomed a fifth child that same year.
General Hospital Star Found Love Again
Meanwhile, Steve Burton revealed in May 2024 that he was in a new relationship with chef Michelle Lundstrom. He proposed in January 2025, and they were married in May. Several of his co-stars attended the wedding. Jonathan Jackson, who played Lucky Spencer until recently, was in the wedding party.
Despite both of them moving, things appear to be strained between Steve Burton and his first wife. They were recently in court over custody of their youngest daughter, Brooklyn. Each side claims the other has prevented them from spending ample time with their daughter.
Rare Glimpse Inside Their Blended Family
Things may be tense between the former spouses, but Steve Burton and his new wife, Michelle Lundstrom, aren’t letting it stop them from living their lives. She has two daughters from a previous relationship. As previously mentioned, Steve Burton has three kids from his previous marriage.
The GH star took to Instagram to share footage from the blended family’s vacation in Hawaii. “Burton ‘Ohana Summer Vacation,” he captioned the clip. “Ohana” is Hawaiian for family.
The blended family vacationed at the Montage Kapalua Bay in Maui, Hawaii. He revealed that the location was the same place he recently honeymooned with his second wife.
The footage starts with the family getting leis upon arriving at the resort. It includes clips from the family vacation, including relaxing in hammocks, snorkeling, and enjoying the cuisine.
One of the photos in the short clip shows Michelle Lundstrom flanked by three young girls. “Love my girls,” the text on the photos says.
Steve Burton’s son Jack is also in the footage.
