HGTV fans have seen quite a few shows end up on the chopping block in recent months. Despite this, a few new shows have been teased to join the network. With this in mind, fans are wondering about the fate of a few shows and the network’s stars. Recently, an inside source has weighed in on the fates of Christina Haack, Tarek and Heather El Moussa’s HGTV shows.

HGTV Fans Have Become Worried About Certain Shows Amid A Recent Network Shakeup

Fans have seen a number of cancellations on the HGTV network. Some impacted shows include Bargain Block, Married to Real Estate, Izzy Does It, and Farmhouse Fixer and, more recently, Battle on the Beach.

Thanks to this, fans have become worried about a few more of the network’s shows. These include Flipping El Moussas and Christina Haack’s Christina on the Coast.

Recently, an insider has spoken with Us Weekly concerning the series’ fate. According to the source, the El Moussas’ show is “not coming back.” Similarly, Christina on the Coast also has “not been renewed.”

That said, this isn’t the last viewers have seen of the trio on the network. According to the source, their show, The Flip Off, is “back for a second season, but there is no filming date or air date yet.”

The Flip Off premiered back in January. This series revolves around teams attempting to find, transform, and flip a house to get the biggest gain. The first season, which was made up of six episodes, saw Tarek and Heather compete against Christina, with each episode focusing on various rooms in the house, from living rooms to guest bedrooms.

Reportedly, the series has proven to be a hit for the network. According to the publication, The Flip Off “delivered HGTV’s highest-rated freshman series among adults since 2022.”

Despite The Recent Cancellations, A Few More Shows Are Coming To The Network

At the time they signed onto the show, the trio also spoke about working together with the publication. As Christina and Tarek were married from 2009 to 2018, there was some concern about whether everyone would get along.

Christina shared, “I’ve never shot with Heather, so I was like, ‘What’s that going to be like? Tarek and I have a playful banter; is she going to be jealous?’” Heather added, “It was like, ‘Are we going to get along? Are we going to work well together?’”

Meanwhile, Tarek joked that Christina and Heather would end up teaming against him. Despite this, all three were said to be excited over the idea of working together again for a second season.

At this time, HGTV has not addressed the recent shakeup, explaining why a number of shows are being cancelled. That said, new content is still coming to the network. This includes new shows from Property Brothers stars Drew and Jonathan Scott and Queer Eye‘s Bobby Berk.
