‘The View’ Fans Rage Over Co-Host’s Defense Of ICE Raids
The View fans are really upset over one of the co-hosts actually defending what is going on in America with the ICE raids right now. It turns out that one of the co-hosts doesn’t see the problem with it that so many people do. So what happened on the episode?
The View Co-Host Shares Her Thoughts On ICE Raids
There was a recent ICE raid that went down in California. This one was at a marijuana farm and it ended up with protestors and ICE unhappy with each other. Now, Alyssa Farah Griffin is sharing her thoughts. She said, “What I am seeing is an uptick in rhetoric against CBP and ICE enforcers who are dealing with this problem because they’re being told by the president of the United States that they have to.”
She went on after that to say more, explaining, “This past week, there was a very dangerous attack against CBP officials in McAllen, Texas. Several people were injured. The perpetrator was neutralized, but that’s something we also don’t want to see. There’s an uptick of violence against law enforcement officers who are actually doing their jobs. If you have a problem with it, talk to your lawmakers.”
Rest Of The Panel Shares Their Thoughts
Everyone doesn’t agree with her on these thoughts, though. Sunny Hostin shared that some of the people want to defend themselves from the officers themselves. Fans were not happy either and think that if this is doing their jobs, then it isn’t okay at all. Fans were going on that she should shut her mouth and not share her opinions.
