Fans Suspect AI Editing On ‘Bachelor in Paradise’
Bachelor In Paradise has an all-new look for Season 10. The new season was filmed in Costa Rica for the first time after previously filming in Mexico for nine seasons. Viewers also may have also noticed a glitzier look after the show upgraded its cameras.
But some fans accused the network of using AI to create some of the most buzzworthy scenes from the first episode. Keep reading to find out more about the shocking accusations.
Jesse Palmer Disappointed In First Eliminations Of Season 10
Sixteen men and women from previous Bachelorette and Bachelor seasons arrived at the fancy resort in Costa Rica hoping to have a second chance at love. The Golden cast arrives in next week’s special Tuesday episode.
Four of the men were sent home during the first rose ceremony of the season. One of the first two men announced for BIP, Hakeem Moulton, was also one of the first exits. He was sent home at the rose ceremony after failing to find a connection with one of the women.
Kyle Howard, Ricky Marinez, and Sam McKinney were the other men eliminated. Sam McKinney was the villain of Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette season.
Jesse Palmer opened up about the first eliminations to ABC Audio after the first episode. He expressed disappointment that Sam M. didn’t get redemption on Bachelor In Paradise like many other contestants have.
“As the host and as someone that’s been around Sam, I was sad to see him leave. I’m really hopeful for him and outside the show that he’ll find his person, because he deserves it,” Jesse said.
Fans Suspect AI Editing On Bachelor In Paradise
The revamped version of Bachelor In Paradise fell flat for many viewers. They missed the old look and feel of the show. Fans took to social media to react in disgust to one scene involving Dale Moss. During a boat date, he sprayed sunscreen on himself, including down his pants.
But it wasn’t just the grossness of the scene that upset people. One fan suspected that the scene was created using AI. The use of ChatGPT to write is a hot topic right now, but AI video editing is on the rise. Some filters on social media can use AI to turn a still image of two people into a video of the people hugging.
But is AI far enough advanced to use for a reality TV show? One fan suggested that two scenes from the first episode were AI-generated. The scene with Dale applying sunscreen and another scene where Spencer Conley imagined another contestant dancing with a cowboy hat on while on a date.
