‘AGT’ Simon Cowell Cuts Grandma Off, Makes Granddaughter Finish Act
America’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell cut a grandma off mid-performance and made the granddaughter finish the act. This was shocking for fans to see. Most felt bad for the grandma as she was the one there to audition. However, Simon usually is right when it comes to the acts and asking them to sing another song, or for someone else to sing it. Granddaughter Signs Grandma Up Without Her Knowledge
Gina and Lilliana were on the stage, ready to perform. Gina is Lilliana’s grandma. However, her granddaughter signed her up for the show without her even knowing. She only found out she was going to be auditioning a couple of days beforehand.
“Behind my back, she signed me up. I only found out two days before I was meant to be here. I thought she was crazy, but she believed in me.”
Gina revealed that she was going to be singing a song that Lilliana wrote. This was a special moment, and Lilliana played the guitar for her grandmother during the auction. However, fans were not expecting to see what happened next.

Simon Cowell cut Gina off and asked Lilliana to sing the song instead.
“Hang on a second. Did you write that song? You did? Can you sing it?”
Lilliana blew people away, and Simon revealed that they could make it further if Lilliana did the singing.
“You’ve got Gina here, but weirdly Gina got you here. You’ve got the better voice. You’re cool, and I think people are going to root for you. So, as long as Gina, you’re prepared to let Liliana sing, this could work.”
Mel B was not a fan of the performance. However, they got sent through anyway by the other judges. This is not what Gina was expecting. However, viewers can assume that she is proud of her granddaughter.
It seems as though Simon was not feeling Gina’s voice. However, he was feeling Lilliana’s and thinks that people are going to love her. However, fans felt bad for Gina as this was not what she thought was going to happen.
