‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Season 10 Week 1 Spoilers

How To Watch Season 10 Premiere
Bachelor In Paradise hasn’t aired on ABC since 2023, when Season 9 ended with engagements. Bachelor Nation fans blasted the show after all of the engagements ended literally days after the Season 9 finale.
The spinoff remained off the air throughout 2024 but is finally coming back with a super-sized Season 10. The new season features young contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, as well as the older contestants from the first seasons of The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette.
The first nine seasons of the show were filmed in Mexico. But after the resort was sold, Bachelor In Paradise found a new home for Season 10 in Costa Rica. Jesse Palmer and Wells Adams return as host and bartender, respectively. Former Bachelorette Hannah Brown joins them in the role of ‘Paradise Relations.’ Her main job, it seems, is to hand out champagne during the rose ceremonies, but in a recent appearance on Good Morning America, Wells Adams said she slacked at her job and he was left to hand out all the drinks.
Season 10 of Bachelor In Paradise premieres on Monday, July 7, at 8 PM Eastern on ABC. The first episode is three hours long.
The Golden Cast Isn’t On First Episode
Bachelor Nation fans hoping to see the Golden cast will be disappointed to know they aren’t on the first episode. Or the second one. ABC released a handy calendar of Bachelor In Paradise‘s July schedule. The first two episodes, airing Monday, July 7, and Monday, July 14, are both three hours long.
The Golden cast, which includes Leslie Fhima and Gary Levingston, doesn’t show up on the beach until the third episode in Season 10, which airs on Tuesday, July 15. That’s right – viewers get two nights of Bachelor In Paradise next week.
So, what can viewers expect to see on the premiere episode?
Bachelor In Paradise Week 1 Spoilers
A new teaser for Season 10 revealed the addition of ‘challenges’ for the contestants to complete. According to Reality Steve, the challenges lead in a cash prize for one lucky couple at the end of the season. Click here to find out how much the cash prize is.
But before earning money, the contestants have to form relationships. After all, they’re on the beach to find love, not money. The show sticks with the previous format of new additions arriving at the beach throughout the first episodes.
Week 1 starts with sixteen contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Reality Steve revealed that Dale Moss and Sam McKinney are late arrivals, showing up on the second day of filming.
According to his sources, Dale went on a date with Kat Izzo, while Sam McKinney took Jess Edwards on a date. Reality Steve’s spoilers aren’t broken down by what will air on ABC, but by week of filming.

So, depending on editing, viewers may not see a rose ceremony until the second episode. But if a rose ceremony does happen on the first episode, it’s the women’s turn to hand out roses first.
Despite her date with Sam, Jess reportedly gives her rose to Spencer Conley. Dale Moss receives a rose from Kat. Alexe Godin from Grant’s Bachelor season gives her rose to Jonathon Johnson, a contestant from Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette season.
Reality Steve’s sources reveal the first contestant eliminated. Sam McKinney, Hakeem Moulton, Kyle Howard, and Rickey Marinez reportedly don’t receive roses and are sent home at the end of the first elimination ceremony.
