Fans Divided Over Ree Drummond’s Baby Granddaughter In Latest Pic
Fans of The Pioneer Woman know that series star Ree Drummond recently celebrated the birth of her first grandchild. Just around the Fourth of July holiday, the Food Network star shared an image of her on social media. The image got a surprising reaction from fans, ultimately leading to a debate. Notably, the discussion became a family affair, with various relatives weighing in.
Ree Drummond’s First Granddaughter Sofia Was Born This Past December
Ree is known to many from her Food Network series, The Pioneer Woman, which premiered back in 2011. Prior to this, she was known for her blog of the same name.
In her personal life, Ree married Ladd Drummond in 1996. Since then, they have five children together. Through her daughter Alex and son-in-law Mauricio Scott, Ree also recently became a grandmother to their daughter Sofia.
Recently, Ree shared a photo of her holding Sofia with fans on social media. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “My little firecracker is here. (I think she had red hair, do you???)” With Ree herself famous for her red locks, this was likely her way of saying that baby Sofia takes after her.
For their part, fans were mixed about Sofia’s hair. Some agreed with Ree. In fact, Ree’s daughter Paige affectionately called her niece “my little ginger elf” in the comments. Others weren’t so sure. As one fan wrote, “[I don’t know] about the hair- hard to say, but she is absolutely gorgeous!!!” Another wrote, “I don’t know about the hair color but she is darn cute.”
Members Of The Family Even Joined The Conversation
In fact, other fans also thought she looked like someone else. In particular, they felt she looked like her father, Mauricio. In fact, his own mother, Martha Moreno, commented on her granddaughter’s resemblance to her son, noting, “Precious Sofia! I think she has Mauricio’s smile!!!”
Even Ree agreed with this. She shared, “She does!! And I think his eye shape, too??? She’s our beautiful granddaughter.”

All in all, a lot of members of Sofia’s family commented on the share. Her mother, Alex, also noted the day was a milestone for Sofia, writing, “Sofia’s first fourth on the ranch!!”
Taking to the comments, fans shared various reactions to who they think Sofia looks like. Some also suggested other family members that she possibly takes after. A few comments included:
