Caitlyn Jenner Mourns Devastating Death
While many people are celebrating the Fourth of July, tragedy recently struck close to home for Caitlyn Jenner, as she is mourning a devastating loss. So, what happened with this situation, and what is going on in the aftermath?
Caitlyn Jenner Is Regularly In The Headlines
When you are part of the Kardashian/Jenner family, it’s always a media circus, with cameras everywhere and insiders coming out of the woodwork to spill all kinds of tea on this famous family and anyone attached to them. Even though Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner are no longer together, Caitlyn is still very much in the spotlight and making headlines.
As followers regularly see, Caitlyn Jenner does a lot of traveling. She shared updates in Jerusalem earlier in June, as well as recent updates in Israel. Many people continue to keep up with everything she has going on, and while she does not have as many followers as Kim Kardashian and others, over 15M is nothing to scoff at.
Caitlyn has also been outspoken in her support of Israel, and that keeps people talking one way or the other, with many people regularly commenting on her updates.
Jenner Mourns Devastating Loss, What Happened?
Unfortunately, while many Americans are celebrating the Fourth of July, based on the latest updates making the rounds, Caitlyn Jenner is mourning a loss that hits close to home. Based on the latest reports, Caitlyn’s friend and manager, Sophia Hutchins, recently passed away.
Caitlyn’s friend and manager was only 29, as she lost her life following a tragic ATV accident. According to TMZ, the accident occurred near Caitlyn’s home. Sophia was declared dead Wednesday morning in Malibu. While driving an ATV, Hutchins “struck the bumper of a moving car.” The momentum of the impact forced the vehicle and Sophia “350 feet down into a ravine.”
Sophia was declared dead on the scene, while the two people in the vehicle she struck sustained no injuries. Outlets such as TMZ have reached out to Caitlyn Jenner for comment, but, so far, she has not responded to this recent tragedy involving her friend.

Sophia and Caitlyn first crossed paths in 2015, and had both a friendship and working relationship since. Sophia even appeared alongside Caitlyn in the docuseries, I Am Cait.
This is a painful loss to mourn, especially when it’s due to a tragic accident such as this. It’s more than likely that Caitlyn may release a statement in the coming days. For now, though, friends and family are left to mourn this tragic loss.
