Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos Host ‘Family Reunion’ On ‘Live!’
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos recently returned from vacation and are back on the set of Live with Kelly and Mark. As they reunite with their loved ones, their live audience also got a recent treat. Kelly and Mark hosted a touching “family reunion” right on the show’s set. The couple also shared the emotional moment on social media.
The Live Audience Saw A Special Guest On The Set Of Live with Kelly and Mark
Live with Kelly and Mark reached its modern incarnation back in 2023 when Mark Consuelos joined the show. For her part, Ripa has been part of the show since 2001, previously sharing hosting duties alongside Michael Strahan and Ryan Seacrest.
Kelly and Mark famously married in 1996 after meeting on All My Children. With their talk show, the two have often shared touching moments with their family and their lives together with audiences.
Recently, following their return from a vacation, Kelly and Mark shared a sweet reunion with their live audience. Sharing the moment on TikTok and Instagram, the two brought their Shih-Tzu, Lena, on set.
Ripa could even be seen getting down on the floor to embrace Lena. When told they would only have a few seconds before the show resumed, Ripa adamantly explained, “We haven’t seen her since we’ve been back from vacation.”
Kelly Shared How Mark Coped With Missing Lena During Their Trip
The video then cut to Ripa and Consuelos sitting at their desk. Consuelos could still be seen holding Lena, even getting up to let someone pet her.
Kelly made clear just how much her husband missed their fur-baby, noting, “Mark was petting every dog he saw on vacation.” As she revealed, Mark even used having a dog as an ice-breaker to introduce himself to “random strangers” and their furry friends.

Taking to the comments, fans were excited seeing Lena on the show. A few people even suggested that she become a permanent fixture.
Added to that, a few fans were proud pet parents themselves and shared that they could empathize with the couple. Some comments included:
