Cassie Ventura To Keep Fighting After Diddy Verdict, Get Her Reaction

A jury has recently announced their verdict concerning the five criminal counts concerning music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Since then, the attorney of his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, who had been the subject of two of the counts, has shared her reaction to the news. Through the statement, the attorney reflected on Cassie and her impact during the case.
Cassie Ventura Was The Subject Of Two Of The Criminal Counts Concerning Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs
Cassie Ventura, also known simply as Cassie, is a musician who started her career in the 2000s. She had been in a relationship with rapper and music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs from 2007 to 2018.
Cassie had been the subject of two of the five criminal counts concerning Diddy after his indictment back in September. This included a count of sex trafficking Ventura and another count concerning the Mann Act transportation of the singer.
As previously reported, Diddy was found not guilty of sex trafficking Ventura, but was found guilty of the Mann Act transportation charge concerning her.
With the recent verdict, Ventura’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, released a statement to OK! following the news. Wigdor explained, “This entire criminal process started when our client Cassie Ventura had the courage to file her civil complaint.” He noted this process started “in November 2023.”
The attorney continued, “Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of s– trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution.” He also highlighted that Ventura’s actions led to a greater good.
Diddy Was Found Guilty Of Two Criminal Counts, But Not Guilty Of The Remaining Three
Wigdor continued, “By coming forward with her experience, Cassie has left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the fight for justice. We must repeat – with no reservation – that we believe and support our client who showed exemplary courage throughout this trial.”
Wigdor also felt that Ventura “displayed unquestionable strength.” He also felt she “brought attention to the realities of powerful men in our orbit and the misconduct that has persisted for decades without repercussion.” He also added, “This case proved that change is long overdue, and we will continue to fight on behalf of survivors.”

In addition to the Mann Act Transportation of Ventura, Diddy was also found guilty of a similar charge concerning another former girlfriend, identified as “Jane.” Similar to the charges concerning Ventura, Diddy was also found not guilty of sex trafficking “Jane.” He was also found not guilty of a count of racketeering conspiracy.
