My 600-Lb Life just ended with its 13th season on TLC. The last episode aired in February. The network has yet to share that they’re bringing Dr. Now back for another season. However, the bariatric surgeon already has a new project with a different network, Lifetime. It’s his new weight loss show, 6000-Lb Diaries With Dr. Now. The show debuted last January and has already released seven episodes. It features a more intimate story for the patients. But what’s noticeable is how severe their obesities are compared to Dr. Now’s patients from My 600-Lb Life. Regardless, it doesn’t stop Dr. Now from helping them lose weight.
Dr. Now Makes First-Ever Activity With Fans
Some My 600-Lb Life fans on social media discussed Dr. Now’s recent IG post. The 80-year-old surgeon announced that he’s doing an AMA, also known as “ask me anything.” According to Dr. Now, he’ll be answering questions on June 30, 2025.
It was the first time he’s done it for the fans. Dr. Now has only done meet-and-greet events at his office, which he also loves. He even showed off a huge line outside his office last March after holding a meet-and-greet event. Many fans also expressed their excitement for Dr. Now’s upcoming AMA.

Dr. Now’s newest show, 6000-Lb Diaries, is nearing its final episodes. In the upcoming episode, Dr. Now will meet a patient named Sam, whose dream is to stay present for his wife and kids. However, his weight is making it difficult for him to do anything with his family. He has ballooned to over 700 pounds due to his food addiction. With his life in danger, he finally decided to seek Dr. Now’s help.
