Kelly Clarkson Has Awkward Reaction To Guest’s Botox

A Recent Discussion About A Podcast Series Led To An Awkward Moment On The Kelly Clarkson Show
For many, Clarkson’s first claim to fame was being the winner of American Idol’s inaugural season. Since then, she has had a prominent career in music.
Since 2019, Clarkson has also been the host of her own talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. The role has seen Clarkson speak with a variety of guests. Recently, however, one interaction with a guest led to an awkward, if viral, moment.
Allison Williams recently appeared on the show amid the release of the horror comedy M3GAN 2.0. During the cat, Williams touched on launching her podcast Landlines.
The actress hosts Landlines with two childhood friends Hope Kremer and Jaymie Oppenheim. As she shared, “I started [the podcast] because when I got pregnant, I started a group chat with my friends from growing up that was very focused on baby troubleshooting. “And so I found that my friends were like my lifeline, and were landline, so to speak.”
Williams noted that the group certainly had a background to discuss children. One member was a therapist who worked with children; another worked as an early childhood educator.
That said, children are just one topic discussed on the podcast. Williams noted, “We talk about all kinds of things, not just being parents. We talk about aging and hormones and Botox.”
The comment caused Clarkson to take a good look at her guest’s face. Viewers saw the host intensely stare at Williams, trying to see if she had Botox injections.

The moment was quick, but did not go unnoticed by the actress herself. Taking things in good humor, she shared, “You looked at my forehead. There’s Botox in there.” As Clarkson broke out into laughter, Williams teased, “That was so subtle!”
Clarkson then admitted, “Because you said Botox! And I went, ‘Oh.’ It doesn’t look — I see a bit of a line, so I didn’t know if you did or not!” For her part, the American Idol alum admitted she hasn’t had Botox, admitting she’s “afraid” to do it.
Clarkson’s chat with Williams was later uploaded to the talk show’s YouTube page. Since then, fans have been sharing their own reactions to the viral moment. Others commented on how they enjoyed seeing Williams on the show. Some comments included:
